POLICY
& PROCEDURES
All
bathers are required to read the following policies and procedures.
Admission Policy & Procedure
- If
you have any health concerns, please check with your doctor before
entering Southampton Spa. We
are not responsible for any health-related difficulties; you enter at
your own risk.
- Children
under 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Children
under 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the
swimming pool.
- All
valuables must be left at the front desk, not in the lockers.
Southampton Spa is not responsible for items lost or stolen
from the locker room.
- Southampton
Spa will deny entrance to the spa to anyone under the influence of
alcohol or drugs.
- No
excessive noise is allowed in the facility.
- Management
reserves the right to deny entry to any persons.
- No
outside food is allowed in the facility.
- Glass
is not permitted in the pool area.
- All
massages must be scheduled in advance or requested at the front desk
upon entry.
- All
guests must leave at the closing hour.
- Bathing
suits must be worn at all times, except in massage rooms.
- There
is a $25 charge for lost locker keys or locks.
Facility
Policy & Procedure
WARNING:
The Russian and Turkish Bath exposes users to elevated temperatures. If
used improperly or by people with extreme health issues, exposure to heat
can be harmful to health, causing overheating, hyperthermia, and even
death. The following
guidelines must be followed:
1.
Leave sauna
immediately if you are uncomfortable, dizzy or sleepy.
2.
Children under 10,
the elderly and those taking alcohol, drugs and medicine are especially at
risk.
3.
Check with your
doctor if you are pregnant, or under medical care.
4.
Children under 14
years old must be accompanied by an adult.
5.
Children under 12
years old must be accompanied by an adult in the swimming pool.
6.
Children under 12
years old are not allowed in the cold plunge pool at any time.
7.
No excessive noise
or running is allowed in the facility.
8.
There is no
lifeguard on duty in the pool area; no diving is allowed.
9.
Do not enter the
baths or pool while wearing oils or lotions.
10.
A bathing suit must
be worn at all times.
Food
& Beverage Policy & Procedure
- Southampton
Spa does not have a liquor license, but patrons are welcome to bring
in their own alcoholic beverages.
Alcohol should be
consumed in limited amounts; alcohol combined with the heat of the
Russian/Turkish baths puts excessive strain on the heart.
- No
alcohol is allowed in the pool area.
- No
glass is allowed in the pool area.
If you have a beverage in a glass, please request a plastic cup
or pitcher from the waitress or attendant (no additional charge).
- No
outside food is permitted in the facility.
- No
containers of any kind are permitted in the bath area.
- Restaurant
orders must be placed a minimum of 1 and ? hour before closing.
Smoking
Policy & Procedure
Southampton
Spa is a non-smoking facility. The
designated smoking room and outside patio area are the only places where
smoking is permitted.
